We are including a timeline of events on the back of our invitation so information will be available there for everyone but we're still hoping majority will go to the wedding website to see. Our family is very close so word will be spread quickly to those who are older and still choose to travel for our wedding! I'm sure my aunts and uncles will take charge of grandparents and great aunts/uncles Smiley smile

We're asking for online RSVPS, although since our wedding is so small, we're going to probably handle most of the rsvps via phone calls as well as online.

Traditional although I am sure there will be some late replies that will do it via text.

We used Punchbowl to send the invitations and guests rsvpd through WeddingWire. I would suggest offering text and email rsvp option as well. I think that would have helped us with the stragglers.

What were your guests' responses to using that method of invitations? Did anyone have any complications? How well did the older crowd respond to the invites?

Modern. We're having online RSVPs. I've had too much mail get lost and never delivered in the past few years so we aren't risking RSVPs getting lost.

Both! We wanted people to be able to use whichever method they were more comfortable with

We haven't decided on this yet but I'm interested in providing the option of both! we have some tech-savvy friends but many older family members who are not up to speed with technology so we want to make it easy on them also.

Traditional. But for my sisters living in other countries, I'm going to include a note that they can just call/email me instead. Especially since I cant prestamp it for them because I cant buy the stamps from their countries.

I don't think it cheapens it at all. That's like saying writing with a ballpoint pen cheapens your mailed in responses than if they were signed with ink and quill.

Save the Dates have been sent out, but we are using the modern approach doing it online.

This!! We got the same type of invites from Minted.com and I love them! They were a great cost savings and they save on paper waste.

Since it's just our immediate family, we're not sure if we still want to send out RSVPs but maybe more of a simple reminder. If we do, it'll only make sense to do it online.

I would definitely lose all the RSVP cards so probably online (with an option to call to RSVP for less tech-savvy family)
