I think the biggest thing for me was that my MOH kept us on schedule during the day and made sure things happened the way we wanted. Our coordinator was... less than stellar... but my MOH was really great at keeping track of the time, making sure we left when we needed to, making sure my new husband and I got fed, etc. She also enlisted a few groomsmen to assist with bustling my dress when it started taking too long.

I also really loved the speech she gave and that it was personal

Honestly, the main thing was just sharing in my special day. My MOH was my best friend, so her just being there and celebrating with me was the most special thing. Her toast was also incredibly heartfelt.

Literally just being there with a good and fun attitude, and not losing my husbands ring lol

I haven’t made it to my wedding day yet, but honestly so far the best thing about my MOH has been having a trusted second opinion on things. I’ve told her a million times not to feel obligated to respond if she’s busy, but I’ve sent her “should I do this or that” or pictures of shoes, dresses, etc, and it’s great that someone who I know cares about me and wants me to have a great day is there to offer advice. On the day of, I really her to be able to relax and have fun as a big thank you for all the support she’s given me so far.
