moh Pregnant

Dj Tanner, on January 31, 2021 at 10:51 AM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 9
Hi Brides!

So we got some super exciting news yesterday.... my MOH is pregnant! I cant be more happy for her. She is considered high risk so it’s best that she attends virtually. I’ve always pictured seeing not just my fiancé’s face walking down the aisle but Ive always pictured seeing her there too right by my side... With that said here’s the question…
Do you think it’s weird if the TV is standing in her place with just her and her hubby n kid on it during the ceremony? Is this how people do it? Any other ideas?
Grandparents and a few other elders will be attending virtually too so we were going to have them on a separate TV.

I’ve seen the bridal party walk down with an iPad with the missing person on FaceTime.

That’s a lot of TVs. How about the idea Cassidy has?

I actually suggested doing an iPad or something for my fiancé’s groomsman (who we think may not feel comfortable attending wedding in September).

Cool yeah I like that idea. I would just feel bad that someone has to hold the iPad during the whole ceremony.

If your groomsman does do virtual, do you plan on him just doing virtual for the ceremony only or would he be there virtual throughout different parts of the night? I didn’t know how to go about this one either haha but maybe this should be for a different post

Yeah it would just be 2 TVs. So like everyone else would be on one TV almost like a Skype session off near the guests chairs, and then just her hubby and kids on the other TV behind me, but the iPad could definitely work too

If you use an iPad or iPhone you can use a tripod. There’s a bunch on amazon. I used a tripod for my iPhone and love it. I also recently went to a funeral where they had a iPhone on a tripod and the priest had it set up (and also relocated it on tables when people spoke at the podium and then priest spoke).

Good idea, yes we actually do have a tripod so that would definitely work too.
