Hi ladies! I’m hoping someone can give me some advice. When I did my makeup trial, my MUA recommended I get a heavy moisturizer to help my makeup go on smoothly on the day.

I’ve tried a few of the big brands day/night cream (Olay, L’Oréal, etc) but with each one I’ve broken out in hives so I look like a pimply teenager within a few hours. I’m not really into makeup so I’m a bit besides myself! I find the facial skincare section of the drug store super intimidating…I feel like I’m just guessing (and literally paying for it). Any suggestions on what to try that might not make me go all red and spotty?

I also have sensitive skin that tends to be on the drier side and I break out from products really easily. I recently went to a dermatologist to see what products they recommended for me and she said Neutrogena Hyrdoboost was a really good product and anything by Cerave. I’ve switched to using the Cerave acne foaming cleanser or the regular Cream to foaming cleanser (which also takes off make up!) and using Cerave night time moisturizer. So far so good! Good luck!

If you have dry facial skin and flaky skin that runs the risk of being heavily accentuated by foundations later, use a moisturizer for your face. The hyaluronic acid powder is a versatile and ideal ingredient for all facial skin types.

I have pretty sensitive skin and enjoy the serums from the No7 brand (I think it used to be called Boots No 7) and for a lower price option Eucerin COQ10. Happy moisturizing!

Thanks to hyaluronic acid, collagen production in the skin are activated. The result of this process is evident: wrinkles are smoothed, the tone is evened out, and the face looks younger. Hyaluronic acid powder in small quantities cannot harm when applied externally and injected under the skin.
