My mom has never liked my fiance they have a bad past when my fiance was trying to help me out but my mom gets irritated or frustrated about my fiance like we aren't in speaking terms at the moment only my grandma and brother I talk to I want her there at my first wedding but I don't want her causing issues should I invite her not im so confused at the moment i know my wedding isn't for another year but I'm having a hard time deciding...

I think a few more details are needed. How old are you and how long have you been together? Why does your mother object to FI or that he was helping you? What kind of things did she do or say to cause you to cut her off? Has she ever attempted to apologize?

Merely being irritated or frustrated with someone, especially if there is any chance it was warranted, doesn’t seem to rise the level of cutting off a parent. But if your mother has been disrespectful to FI or you think she’s the kind of person who could try to cause a scene at your wedding it’s another story. In that case she would need to be able to show you evidence that things have changed. She doesn't have to love him, but she does have to be civil.

On another note what do you mean by your “first wedding?” Do you mean you are planning a small wedding and a celebration to follow later on?
