Hello I need advice!

I recently got engaged and of course my fiance and I have started the conversation of when. We both agree that September 2018 is too soon and want to do September 2019. My grandparents have been super influential in my life and we discussed getting married on their wedding anniversary. The problem? It's a monday.

My thoughts are that though it could cause issues for out of town guests we think it could help us to cut down our guest list and cost. What are your thoughts? if you have done a weekday wedding how did it go??

Thank you!!

We’re having a Monday wedding. We are only having like 60 guests though. And it’s a destination wedding for my guests (it’s in Canada, I’m from NJ and live in California). The people who are most important to me, all so said they would go and that it would be no issue.

A lot of my FH’s friends work weekends or are flight attendants. So, not having it on the weekend is actually more convient for them. And we know immediate family will make arrangements to be there. So, it probably depends on your guest list.

But, it’s your day. What’s more important? Having lots of people or having it on the special day?
