Summer Mondays aren’t a thing. People work on Mondays. Assume your attendance to be very low to none.

We actually had our wedding on a Monday in June. It was a little different because it was a destination wedding wedding so people had to travel anyway. Most people came and the people who didn’t come had medical issues or COVID concerns. They wouldn’t have come if it was local on a Saturday.

My cousin invited me to a Thursday morning wedding... a week before it was supposed to happen! I would have been able to make it if i knew earlier. I ended up not attending. But I wanted to!


—- my point is, the people who love you and want to celebrate with you will make the effort to take off of work. Just give them enough notice and be confident in your decision.

We got married on a Monday (in spring)! Everyone attended however, 1) we only had 15 guests, 2) mostly retired family, 3) we confirmed the date with guests before we booked our venue. Not sure if that helps!
