Month for wedding between two dates-swfl

Becky, on October 18, 2019 at 3:36 PM Posted in Florida Planning 0 4
I’m torn! I have two dates in hold. But I’m in SWFL. Naples area. My date is March or April

recommendations?!?

originally we were scheduled for March 12, but hotel rooms are really super high cause of season. So if I move it to April 16th I get my rooms cheaper. But I love the thought of a March wedding. Advice? Tips? Any thing?

If you want to do it in March then go for it! Don’t change how you pictured your day to accommodate for others. Rooms are probably high because that is about spring break time.

If you want March do it! I would do April just thinking any time I want to celebrate the anniversary how everything would be higher, etc but if I really wanted that date I would do it any ways

    Hey there, Courtney!

As the PPs mentioned, I too would recommend going with the date you want your wedding to be on.

It’s sweet that you’re taking into consideration the cost of accommodation on your guests. Is it quite a big difference between March and April?

Perhaps you could look into a Hotel Block to reserve rooms at the best prices for your guests if you’re concerned about them struggling to afford accommodation!

It’s a difference of about 100-200 a night for hotel rooms and that is with the hotel block. I’m not so much stuck to a date as much as I am just thinking about the weather.
