More bridesmaids than Groomsmen

I had a minimony with my friend as MOH and no one on my husbands side.

I don’t have pictures as our wedding is set for October 2021, but I will also have more bridesmaids than groomsmen. I will have two while FH will have one. I was worried about it being unbalanced, but our plan is to have them both walk down with the groomsman. I couldn’t imagine trying to choose between the two of then, so I decided to just have both anyway!

Awwww thank you so much. Oh and I do not have a pic but when I was a bridesmaid years ago for a friends wedding one of the groomsmen did not go because it was a destination wedding so there were three of us to two grooms men. I doubt anyone will notice. One groomsmen walked two of us during the recessional and into the reception.

It's not as uncommon as one would think. The picture that Kristen shared looks great!

It is very common. Even weddings that start out even, often lose one or two by wedding time.

We had uneven sides - DH had more.

In my friends wedding, it was the same. Her husband also had a best woman and she had two men as as bridesmen (if that’s the name for it). It didn’t look odd at all, if anything I loved that they did that because they did what worked for them. She also had the two bridesmen walk down together and they were just too entertaining!

I don’t have pictures yet but we had 7 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen. It worked out really well. 😁

For our big wedding my husband will be having 8 groomsmen to my 6 bridesmaids. Obviously I don't have any pictures though because it isn't until March 2021.

Not married yet cause my wedding is in April but I have 5 bridesmaids and my fiance has 3 groomsmen. We are doing 1 bridesmaid, 1 groomsman and then 2 bridesmaids 1 groomsman and 2 bridesmaids 1 groomsman.

We had more on my side due to I had a Man of Honor and a Junior Bridesmaid in addition to my Maid of Honor. During ceremony, due to Covid, we had our Bridal party sit down while our closest party members stand with us but off to the sides a bit. It looked fine to me in photo's but I'm also not overly picky about these things.
