Good morning, Ladies!
I have some more great vendor news. Yesterday, we signed the agreements and submitted the deposits for our DJ and photographer. I am so excited, the photographer we selected is wonderful and does some great work with the camera. The DJ I will have to finalize more as we get closer to the date as far as playlists, song selections, etc.
Also, we have scheduled our cake tasting appointment for February 12th! This is great news since the cake and desserts are one of the most exciting parts for me (aside from the dress) and I can't wait to see what design and flavor ideas we pick. I do know that our "side desserts" will still be cupcakes and donuts, so those will also be part of the tasting. My fiancé and I live in Sacramento and traveling to and from Santa Cruz takes about 3 and 1/2 hours of driving so we are trying to schedule things in advance to give us time to prepare.
Next will be scheduling my hair & makeup trial but I don't anticipate setting that up until later in 2021, so that part isn't a real rush right now. Plus I need to give myself time to let my hair grow out more for the hairstyle I like.
