Mori Lee - ivory over caramel? DRESS pics included!

Holding it up to an ivory over blush dress - just for comparison for color. These are two different dresses.

The ivory over caramel dress was not one Mori Lee shipped in ivory for try on, so they put me in this other ivory dress just for color comparison. I am not looking at buying the ivory dress in this photo (which is a Maggie Sottero.)

I am debating if the ivory over caramel will still have its sparkle and wow factors in ivory only as I can't see it before ordering it. Mori Lee does not even show ivory only photos on their website.

Ive seen some and think they are just beautiful. I too had the concern that in pics it would look a bit too mocha but it is different and beautiful. Do you have a pic wearing it?

The lighter one is perfect!

The lighter one (in second post/photo) isn't the dress I'm looking at; it's just an ivory dress for coloring comparison because Mori Lee does not ship the ivory over caramel for try on.

I think the lighter color and your skin tone is PERFECTION! Plus the lighter one will be timeless!

The dress is super gorgeous on you! But sorry I'm a little confused on which colour you're wearing (or not) in which picture?

I love the ivory/caramel combo. I think it makes the beaded/lace detail pop. I prefer it without the belt as well. A belt is great if you need to define a waist more but you are so slim that it isn't needed.

You're giving me serious dress regret!! I love both of those dresses, I don't think you could go wrong with the colour.. But if you try it on again take a pic in the caramel dress in better light

I wish Mori Lee would even just show photos of this dress in ivory only on their website, but they don't.

I'm just hesitant to order it in ivory only without seeing it at all. I don't know if it'll lose its sparkle and wow without the caramel.

I do agree that a lighter dress looks better on my skin tone, and I think the illusion back would stand out better in ivory only.

I like the caramel color! I would be hesitant to order in a different color without seeing in person.

Have you tried a Google image search on the dress? You may be able to find real brides who has the dress that way. I was able to do so with mine by the way, that dress is stunning.

@Ashlee L. - both the boutique manager and FSIL...and I...did that. Hah. It's from the spring 2017 line though, so no real life bride photos come up at all.

Bummer I wonder if any other salons in your area would have it in the ivory only?

I am going to call today, but it looks like they may have only shipped it out with the ivory over caramel. Frustrating!
