What is an annoying wedding phrase that has been way overused that you can't stand anymore? I will go first.... I said "yes to the dress"

    Its your marriage their wedding.

It's your wedding and you do what you want! If no one likes it then there are many exit signs in the place)

S3, I absolutely cringe when people ask what my theme is! I actually had one until I realized how silly it was and I was driving myself crazy making sure everything fit into my "theme"

"Theme" makes me cringe too, I thought I had to have one after joining this site and actually tried to come up with something that would fit, like "simple elegance", it didn't last long lol!!!. We are just going to have a nice small church wedding with family and friends.

"Theme" is good too, but "It's your wedding and you do what you want to" definitely wins as the dumbest advice.

I don't think I've actually heard most important day of your life more as it is one of the most important days of your life...to which I agree to be honest...it's not the most but it's one of them.

I'm going to have to agree with bridezilla...I can't stand that one by any means.

I think the over used one I've been hearing a lot b/c many of my friends have gotten engaged lately is "Bling bling, I got the ring!" It's SO annoying!

"Obey" as in "love, honor, and obey." That was the first thing I took out of my ceremony and out of the ceremonies I officiate.

Second: I now pronounce you man and wife -- changed that to husband and wife. If she's going to be married, so is he!

The word "bling" makes me cringe. When I see it on here ("My theme is BLING!"), I want to reach through the monitor and start doling out the throat punches.

I have to agree I hate when people tell me it's my day and what he and the kids want don't matter. I does matter I'm not marring just him and his not marring just me we are a blended family. (2nd time around for both of us).
