Some may even go to the extreme and try to match the bride on their big day. Whether they’re just clueless or a bit shameless - who on your guest list is most likely to wear a white dress to your wedding?

A wife of one of my husbands friend wore a white gown to our wedding. She also wore a tiara in her hair. This lady is in her late 50s and should know better. Not sure what she was thinking, but i wasn’t aware of it until i saw our photos and video. Glad i didn’t see it that day, for sure.

Hi Mary! Wow! At least you didn't notice during your wedding, and therefore it didn't distract you from your special day!

If I had to choose one person, it would be my FMIL. She's already worn a full white evening gown at her niece's wedding a few years back. When I saw the picture, I thought it was highly inappropriate, as all of her sisters were dressed in appropriate attire, and she was literally looking like the bride. I hope she won't try that at my wedding though. I probably wouldn't make a huge deal of it on the day, but I would reflect on it at a later time.

Hi Andrea! I'm sure if you voice this concern before the wedding, it will let her know that you would prefer her to not wear white! I hope it all works out! Smiley smile

My mother in law because she hates me with a passion (for no apparent reason) and will do anything for this wedding to not happen.

I don't think that anybody will. And I'm not entirely sure if I'm going to wear white or not, as my SO's favorite color is actually green. And I think that I look better in green as compared to white anyway. I ain't Queen Victoria, I don't have to look like her, ha ha ha.

The flower girl may be dressed up like a bride. Like, a little girl's Halloween costume bride with a tiara and everything. She's just so excited about getting to walk down the aisle and her mother alerted me that she's been picking out bride costumes from the Halloween magazines... ha ha ha. I don't mind. Assuming the wedding happens when we're planning it, she'll be under the age of 10 at this point. Nobody is going to mistake her for the actual bride. Hopefully. I mean, if they do, that's creepy.

She'll be doing it with the flower boy. The boy didn't want to be a ringbearer because he figured out that the flower girl got to throw stuff. So they'll probably be walking down the aisle together chucking flower petals at everybody and dressed like a little mini groom and bride.

Which is going to be adorable. I encourage this.

She better not. She and I don't have the best relationship but if she does i have no problem asking her to leave or sitting her in the back. Im not playing those games.

My mother LOL cause I told her she could. Our colors are orange, white and gray. And she was stressing to find an orange dress. Which, I'll admit isn't flattering on most people (our bridesmaids are wearing gray). So I told her to get white! She hesitated, but I told her I really don't mind. People are obviously going to know she's not the bride.

A friend of mine i've known for many years. She does her best to make everything about her. She loves me, but she really loves attention on her most of all. Biggest reason she's NOT a bridesmaid

I really don't care! I won't be wearing white, and I'd prefer if my guests stuck to the darker color palette, but you can't really control that!

Honestly I doubt anyone would, but both my of honors have a designated red wine glass to bump into them with if they ever show up.
