My husband and I had a honeymoon fund and while our guests contributed to it even more than we expected, others still decided to give us physical gifts. The most useful gift we received was the Amazon Echo Dot, I never thought I would use it every day to listen to music while I cook or to add things to my shopping list. On the other hand, someone got me a scrapbook, it is cute but I think printing photos is a waste of paper so I'm not sure I will use it.
What're the most and the least useful wedding gifts you've gotten?
This is an interesting post! Would love to hear what others say! Our wedding is not until Sept 7, but we received our first gift about a month ago which is a Roomba! I love it and already been using it. A lot. Lol
Yes, looking forward to what others post too! My fiance bought us a google home hub a few months ago and I thought it was a waste of money. I use it every day now! Lol
We LOVE the knife block set and pan set that we registered for. We use them all the time. We finally got the chance to break out the dehumidifier (it was on our registry but we bought it after the wedding with the discount and gift cards we got) and it is the BEST. We live in a really humid area and it has been amazing.
Least useful? Probably our salad spinner. It is still in the box lol.

Hahaha I mean those technological things are not essential but once you have them, they are easy to incorporate to your life.

I had never heard of a dehumidifier, that sounds interesting.
Those are good gifts you got. I've an echo dot too and it's useful. The useless one we got was a bible. not saying that's useless in general because we are Christian buttttt it was sort of like "oh.. a bible.." ahah everything else I got were things i asked for.
I love our Echo Dot, it's amazing! I bought it on Black Friday a year ago and I'm so happy I did.
We haven't had our wedding yet, but I did have my shower & we have received early gifts.
Most Useful: So far, we are most excited about our wine fridge & dog door!
Least Useful: A rogue ninja foodi. Super nice expensive gift, but we have a deep fryer & an instant pot (and all accessories for the instant pot). The worst part, they didn't give it with a gift reciept. It wasn't on our registry & we have no idea where they bought it from. UGH. We had SO many gifts on our registry, so bummed haha!
I wouldn't blame you. We did this with a juicer. In theory, it sounded great. But we already have a citrus juicer and we live in CO (I grew up in CA) so citrus & a lot of fruit/veggies are nowhere near as affordable as they are in CA haha!
So a humidifier is what people would use during the winter to put moisture back in the dry air so your skin isn't dry and your hair/clothes aren't full of static. A dehumidifier does the opposite. It is used during the summer months to pull moisture out of the air so the air feels less hot and heavy. For people in the Midwest, having one of each is a necessity!
Lol now I'm questioning if I should remove the salad spinner off my registry. Our wedding isn't for another month, but we got a few gifts already. I love our bar cart and the new set of drinking glasses (half of our old set had broken over the years).
Our most useful gift has been our new vacuum! We SO needed a new one! Our least useful gift was a stoneware serving set that we believe was a regift. We tried to return it and the store couldn’t find it in their records! (It’s a store branded product so we know where it was purchased). Luckily my husband was able to sell it to a coworker so we made something off of it.

Just an idea because I’ve done this before (not with such an expensive item though), try taking it somewhere they sell it and see if they’ll give you store credit for it. It might be reduced by a few bucks, and I’m not 100% sure they’ll take it back because it’s a more expensive item, but might be worth a shot, and then you’re not stuck with something you don’t think you’ll use.
So did you not create a registry and still got gifts? We are just wanting monetary gifts but are trying to figure out how to word it. I've seen ppls registry and my goodness they sometimes have the most useless stuff on there which makes me want to ditch the registry idea.
