Any neutral color, or any warm color (pinks, red, shades of burgundy) even black.

Our colors are steel blue and navy with accents of gold and white. My mom picked a navy dress because she felt comfortable in that but we looked at multiple shades of blue, champagne, tan, and grey.

The mothers don't have to match exactly, as long as it's a complimentary color and they feel comfortable is all that matters. The moms are only in a few pics anyhow, and not usually with the full bridal party regardless.

If your mom wore burgundy but a totally different style from BMs, that might look stunning. Or a black gown with a little detail or sparkle/shimmer would look very elegant.

Sometimes it's hard for moms to find shoes that fit so she could wear black shoes she already has for either option.

Your mom would really accentuate your color scheme if she wore sage green, but that's a hard color for some people to pull off! Let her wear what she's comfortable in.

Please don't try to coordinate your mother (or the MOG) with the color scheme! They are guests at the wedding, and like other guests, should be able to wear what they want.

She is walking me down the aisle and is doing a lot with helping plan my wedding. Everyone’s wedding is different. I’m not judging what others are doing. But for my wedding, I would like my mom to have a dress that compliments the colors. That is all I was asking.

Our mothers are wearing whatever color they want too. My mom chose navy and his stepmom chose black with multicolor accents. Our colors are pink/blush and light gray/silver.

Hi! What color did you decide on? I’m in the same boat with burgundy and rose gold colors pretty much the same as to you and I’m having difficulty finding colors. It’s very important to me they match with the color scheme

I am the mother of the bride. When I showed my daughter the dresses I was thinking of wearing she said "No mom, you are an important part of my wedding. you need to be in a long special dress too" So I am now happily looking for full length dresses.

My daughters colors are plum and iris. She said any color I would like as long as they are not those would be fine with her. We have gone dress shopping together and it was fun. She liked me in soft magenta and teal, but I haven't found exactly what I want yet, but we have started.
