Mother of bride gift

Is she financially contributing to the wedding or helping out with the planning? Usually parent gifts are meant for the above 2 reasons. If neither is happening, and you don’t have a comfortable relationship with her currently, definitely don’t feel like you’re obligated to give a gift.

I think getting her a wedding album would be a really great gift in this scenario. She can see all the pictures from the day and have a keepsake item to have around her home. We're planning to do that for both sets of parents as well (in part because I'm running out of gift ideas/ budget space for all the gifts for everyone lol), and I'm planning to write a note to each parent to read on the wedding day.

I agree with Paige, maybe a nice photo album. That way you’re not going out your way to give her a gift. Especially if she isn’t attending the wedding on financially contributing.

Some flowers of her favorites a nice sweet something with a note with some tender words will be very and it will make her day
