I don't think so, I think that would be nice! It was actually my mum who was more opposed - she didn't want to look like she was trying to be an extra bridesmaid, but personally I would have loved if she'd have chosen our wedding colour (pink) since I love it so much!

I think it’s totally fine. If that’s the color that makes her comfortable then she should wear it.

I've never been to a wedding where the moms matched the bridal party, but if that's the color she wants to wear then that's totally fine! Nothing wrong with it!

I am in the exact same situation with the same colors and everything haha. I was wondering the same. When she told me she was going for navy I was unsure but didn’t want to tell her she couldn’t wear that lol. Good to know the general consensus is that it’s not weird

I actually asked my wedding planner this morning and she made me feel crazy that I was even worried about it a little bit... and she's been doing it for the past 30 years!!! So I feel a lot better about it 😂
