Movie Scores That Are Ceremony Music Appropriate?

steviejoy, on March 11, 2011 at 8:59 PM Posted in Planning 0 11

I've been looking at certain movie scores as possible music for my ceremony, and the walk down the aisle. I like "The Ludlows" from Legends Of The Fall and some pieces from Meet Joe Black.

I also am in love with this one by the irish singer Loreena McKennit called "Ancient Pines" to walk down the aisle to. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NlyQbS347mE

I was wondering if anyone could recommend/suggest any other movie scores or pieces like this for me to take a listen to as possibilities? Thanks!

I love Last of the Mohicans

Top of the World and Cora (very pretty) .... Some of them are really pretty but too fast to walk down to.

Question. Does it HAVE to be from a movie? Cause if you're talking names like Enya, Loreena, etc...I have a mountain of stuff you could choose from. I love the new age music genre, which includes a lot of Irish/Celtic stuff.

Thanks for the music everyone, I'm going to listen to it all.

And to Mrs. Carmen: No, it doesn't have to be a movie score, it can be other singers/music from whatever. I love the irish/celtic feel since my family is originally from Ireland and that is my heritage so I've always pulled more towards that flow of music than anything else. Love what you posted! It's beautiful!
