Music before ceremony

Summer, on August 3, 2018 at 4:16 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 3

So I'm having an outdoor ceremony and we have our songs picked out for the processional and recessional and for during (like communion), but what do we do for music before? What should be playing when guests arrive to make it a seamless transition to the processional? My mom suggested Pride and Prejudice (the 2005 version) soundtrack and instrumental songs like that, but I'm not sure about those yet.

If your wedding is more traditional then it is common to have classical music playing while guests arrive before the ceremony begins. YouTube has some great playlists you can check out.

I was going to do a instrumental for a song, but i'm not allowed to due to a noise ordinance, boo...but something instrumental would be nice that can just repeat. I like jazz as well if your into that. Those instruments sound nice playing while waiting

Hi, Summer! I think your mom has a great idea, and not just because I'm a Jane Austen nerd! Smiley winking
