Music for Special Dances!!!!

So my wedding isn't until August, but we've had our ceremony and reception music picked out since December! I'm a music nut and my job involves it, so we had that done before almost everything else!

First Dance: Love of my life, Sammy Kershaw

Father/Daughter: My Little Girl, Tim McGraw

Mother/Son: Perfect Fan, Backstreet Boys OR You've got a friend, Scotty McCreery (FI can't decide!)

Cake Cutting: Sugar, Sugar

Garter Toss: Mambo #5, Lou Bega

Bouquet Toss: Single Ladies, Beyonce (a popular pick!)

We also have a "snowball dance" to either We Found Love, Rhianna OR Stereo Hearts, Gym Class Heroes

To enter the reception, each attendant "couple" chose a song and we made a mix of them, with ours at the end.

We changed our mind so many times. Its great that you were able to stick by your choices. lol

Father/Daughter & Mother/Son (Combined and we're asking all other father/daughters and mother/sons to join on on the dance floor halfway through since it's a long song): Lean on Me - Bill Withers

We're not doing cake cutting or bouquet/garter toss..

Mother/son dance: Stand by me

Garter toss: Diced pineapples by Rick Ross lol edited version of course..

Entrance song: Go get it by TI lol

Yea it was interesting but everyone loved it and guests still can't stop talking about our wedding..

Future Mrs. B-- Marry Me is being played for the bridal entrance for our ceremony on trumpet and Marry You is our exit song after the ceremony, also on trumpet. I didn't want the boring traditional music for our ceremony and thought these songs were perfect!

Mrs Roberts - I LOVE that you used so much Beyonce! I love her and kept suggesting her songs for each of ours, but FH reminded me that she will likely be played a lot during the night for dancing, so I'm trying to be okay with that! Love her!

I definitely say the hardest part of planning for me has been music selections. Who knew??

Haven't figured out anything else yet (for the reception). I cannot stand 'single ladies' for the bouquet toss. Actually, I cannot stand the bouquet toss. I hated going up to participate every time, so I'm nixing it. Still need to find an anniversary dance though!

Trena, it was really difficult for us too! We spent a good 2.5-3 hours last night deciding on ours! Lol!
