Music help

Pang, on April 7, 2021 at 9:30 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 3
Hi guys. Since we cancelled our big wedding and are doing a micro wedding. We decided to just play songs from a playlist, hence no DJ to help us with this.

If anyone can offer some advice, I’ll appreciate it. Does anyone know how to fade a song out? For example, our first dance, we just want to play about a minute or two of the song and fade out mid song or so. Or like the song when I’m walking down the aisle.
Thanks I’m advance.

There are definitely people you can hire to edit a song to fade out for pretty cheap. Or if you're feeling up for it, download a music editor to your computer and do it yourself, you can export the file as an MP3. (I edited a ton of music this way for my figure skating and dance routines, fade outs are super simple!)
Also, I'm sure that there are Playlist on even YouTube or something that are 2-3 hours of "party music" for the reception that have good fade outs and mixes of songs

Were not having a DJ either at our destination wedding. We are having some local djs make some flash drives. I'm bringing one big speaker with micro phone and that's it!!

Hi Pang! There are instructions on how to do this in music editing software like GarageBand and iMovie (but it will depend on what program you're using) - or you can designate someone to be in charge of fading out those two musical queues!
