I'm looking into buying a rock box. (I think that's what they're called)

We're having our DJ be outside with a table and speakers.

We have a Bose Soundlink Mini and it is amazingly loud... you could use something like that. Steel drums would be a great beach feel too!

Live music is nice or a battery-powered sound system.

Our DJ/musician has the option of doing music out on the beach. Our ceremony is inside but our reception venue does beach ceremonies too.

Check with your venue. Mine has an outlet and its on the beach.

If not Bluetooth should work. I'm having my DJ do the ceremony since he has wireless mics, etc.

Check with your venue - I am positive they will have sound/music options for you including a DJ and live musicians.

If using a DJ, he should bring speakers. If you are having a live musician, most have the option for a sound-amplifying speaker and it would be worth it to pay for them to bring that. If you end up doing your own music, buy a battery-powered blue tooth speaker.
