There is no way I was paying 15-30 bucks for a cake knife that I was only going to use once .. and that nobody will probably notice.. so I headed over to my local dollar tree and got a cake server and used some supplies that I already had at home. I hotglued the blue ribbon around the handle, added a fabric flower, some rhinestones and ribbon. viola! A DIY project that took maybe ten minutes done! The pics arent the best but you get the pictures anyways.

Really nice jobSmiley smile good work... make sure to "tuck" a plain knife with a long blade to actually cut the cake for your servers...if your cake has tall layers..just a thought...

Cute. I wasn't planning on getting one since we are having cupcakes...we will have a small 7" cake for us to cut, but there won't be a need for a fancy knife set.

however my MOH said she will get one, LOL..so if she forgets, we will be using a knife from the kitchen of the hall.
