Unfortunately, no. It is just going to have to grow at its own pace. Some people believe certain supplements make hair grow faster (although there is little to no evidence to back that up), but giving your small child high doses of supplements would be incredibly unhealthy and dangerous.

Poor thing! She doesn’t look too happy about the job her stylist did!

There are hair/nails/skin vitamins that claim to be miracle growers but they aren’t intended for kids. Short of hair extensions, it will have to grow on its own time. Some people have hair that grows like a weed with several inches in a month and others might get the same length over a year’s time.

On average hair grows 1/2 a month so she should have an extra 4-5 inches by the time your wedding rolls around. Avoid super tight hairstyles or hairstyles that don't need a lot of manipulation. Keep hair hydrated. I don't think it looks as bad as it could, I think it'll look fine by the wedding.

    Bless lol!

I agree with Ava, there's not much to do but wait it out. I would say that's plenty of time, but my hair also grows extremely fast. I do think that by the time the wedding rolls around, her hair should be a length that you can hide the choppiness or pin some pieces down! It's def. not as bad as it could've been!

Thank you for the support my son said so pretty my daughter cried. I will never give my daughter supplements I didn’t know if maybe there was hair oil or something I could put in her hair,

Aw that face! I would just let it grow naturally and when it gets close to the wedding just have it styled cutely maybe get a hair accessory. It will be fine and she will look great! My little sister when she was 5 gave herself a mullet. She has beautiful natural curly locks, and my mom cried hard but it grows back!

Since she’s a little girl, she has a variety of cutesy hairstyle options and also hair accessories, despite the length. So she’ll be fine.

Agreed that I wouldn't give unproven (and unregulated) hair growth supplements to a child.

Hair grows (on average) about 1/2 inch per month, and I feel like my hair tends to grow faster than that when short (shorter hair is younger and more protected, so less prone to the damage that long hair tends to get at the ends, when it dries out, gets exposed to wind, brushes and tangles on things, etc). I also think my hair grew faster when I was a kid as well. But using that 1/2 inch per month average, with almost 10 months to go, she'll have about another 5 inches, which will at least give her even chin/shoulder length hair (keep in mind kids heads are smaller than adults, so 5 inches of growth will appear longer on a child compared to an adult) and you can absolutely do a cute style with that. Additionally, a professional stylist could turn her current hair into a cute pixie cut if needed! But I think you have ample time to grow her hair out into a typical little girl's hairstyle that can be easily accessorized or styled.
