I think 300 is too many too.. not sure where he got that number from. Our full guest list is 96 and we still might cut some due to social distancing. I’m not sure yet how our venue is handling this. Still might cancel the venue and move to backyard if some restrictions are not lifted. I will be dancing either way.. this isn’t foot loose 😂🤣🤷‍♀️

Yea it seems really large with everything going on. I feel like it could be trouble for a spike in cases. My state is still st 10 people and it seems like in phase ii we may go up to 50. Play least you’re taking steps, hopefully he gives more guidance with that.

Yeah I think it’s dangerous. However, I think a majority of June brides have cancelled or postponed at this point. Realistically, we probably won’t see larger weddings until July here. I think by late summer we will have less restrictions too.. Good luck to you!

Hello date twin! Our original date was May 30 and we pushed it to August by mid March. What state are you in? We are in NY (not NYC thank God but not too far) and still planning to go full steam ahead! We have only 88 guests right now (some haven’t RSVP’d about the new date yet) and the state seems to be moving in a really positive direction finally. Worst case scenario if we can’t celebrate at our venue we will have the maximum sized group of people in our backyard, rent a tent and have ourselves a good time with some catering. It wouldn’t be as we pictured it but we just can’t delay again for a couple of personal reasons. Hang in there! Things won’t be normal by August but I think they’ll be better at least. As for dress, vendors, etc - we have every single thing done already. All I need to do is get my final dress fitting and make a seating chart (we’ll see how that goes lololol)

August 29 in southeastern PA and still going as normal! I had my 1st fitting this week, and my 2nd fitting is in 2 weeks. I sent out invitations this week. The full guest list is 148, with an expected 120 adults, 10 children to be there (pre-COVID, of course). I will not postpone until the venue tells us we absolutely have to. I'm actually a little more optimistic since the counties are slowly opening up. So fingers crossed! I'm not stopping anything yet.

My wedding is in very rural northern PA where they have less than 40 cases and my wedding is September 5th. We are expecting about 140, it's outside on family property, and we have a tent and catering. Things are looking really positive lately so I have high hopes that our wedding will be able to happen as planned, too! 😊

For my fiance and I, personally, decided on postponing. My original date was August 21st but switched to April next year. I have my dress, the venue, photographer, florist and DJ. Thinking about it, since August is a month away with nothing looking better. I feel like even if the quarantine is lifted (here in California we're only in phase 2), we would have to wear masks and distance ourselves. Honestly that isn't the wedding I want. However, a lot of brides still plan on doing a Covid wedding. It's just up to you. If you do plan on postponing, I'd get in touch with people asap. When I let my venue know, they said that literally everything was booking up for next year. I wish you this best of luck with your wedding.

That’s good you were able to postpone. My wedding is August 29th and my venue refuses to let me postpone right now. It’s annoying. I don’t want to have a wedding during a pandemic but at this point I can’t lose out on all of they money we put into the venue.
