My baker bailed

Oh no!! I’m so sorry this happened! I found several great vendors on WW for our wedding and I’m sure the new baker will be amazing! PLUS - you get another cake tasting! The other one wasn’t meant to be.. the new option will be perfect 💕. Good luck!!

Hopefully the one you’re waiting on comes through! Sorry this happened, I’m sure it’s put unexpected stress on you. Have you ever looked on fb marketplace? I don’t know if it’s just my location but I’m constantly seeing bakers on there starting out and I’ve come across some pretty good talent. And a plus is they will probably be in your budget. Luckily no deposit. I had a cake bought for me from her before, so she was working with me on price and I didn't have to pay a deposit

That’s awful! One thing to keep in mind would be getting a smaller cutting cake that’s pretty and exactly what you want and having sheet cakes in the back that can be cut and served to the guests. Just an option if price becomes an issue for a larger cake with an available baker! (I wanted Costco cake, but the cake is included with my venue so the guests will have to deal with it 😉.)

We're getting a cute little cake then have sheets of cake in the kitchen to be cut and serve to our guests.

I can't afford both. I knew this person from having a cake there before and she had given me a great deal I know i probably can't get anywhere else. My venue is a community center. I wish I had the option of getting a cake there. I wouldn't be in tears and stressed now then
