My bands cant be fitted to my size!

Jr, on August 17, 2020 at 1:30 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9
I bought our bands (without him) took them home to show him what I picked out.. I got them on sale and my mother bought them as a gift for us.. so now i got back and they dont go down that small & so I tried on what they had and the bands didnt match... They do fit my first finger.. idk what to do. I wanted the three bands like this because I have two kids and It kinda felt symbolic. Are there any bands that yall think would work with my ring that can go down to a size 5? My ring is actually sized at 4& 3/4th. Idk how but thats what it measure My bands cant be fitted to my size! 1

Can you take the ring to a different jeweler and see if they can resize the ring for you?

I was going to suggest the same as Molly. I would try a different jeweler.

I thought of that, but they said it wont work.. its because it has too many diamonds.. like they wont hold right. But I just thought of something.. my friend said she has a little ball of metal in her ring! Maybe I can get it sizes from a 7 to a 6 (smallest) it will go and then do that ball thing?

Those are called ring sizing beads and a jeweler should definitely be able to put them on your ring for you.

I would look for a different set of rings one with a channel set that is not an eternity band, those can be sized.

I would see how much down they can size it and then add the sizing beads to get it where it needs to be. It makes sense that they can’t size it down that much. I also have tiny fingers (4.5h and our jeweler recommended doing a custom ring made in my size so we didn’t have to worry about the ring’s integrity after sizing.

Going up or down too many sizes causes the ring to lose integrity and diamonds. Your best bet is to order rings in your size or as close to that size as you can get but no more than two sizes bigger.
