    I went all prepared to order my dress, and ended up buying it off the rack because the sample was brand new and my size, so they asked if I just wanted that one. So off the rack would definitely be the safest bet for her.

    I just came here to say that maybe you could talk her out of a Jan 1st wedding. Cuz...hangovers.

    Honestly, her biggest problem may not be piecing together vendors but having guests actually come.

    Some people won't come because of the date, others may already have travel plans. She just needs to be prepared to get a lot of declines.

    And I hope she has checked with her VIP guests to see if they can attend.

    No it is never too late. My best friend is getting married too but not til next year. I am planning for her.
