I’m really trying to decide if we should include my brother and his girlfriend in our wedding party last minute. My brother and fiancé are pretty close and his girlfriend and I have grown increasingly closer during the last year (We got engaged a year and a half ago). My fiancé has 7 groomsmen and I have 7 bridesmaids without my brother and his girlfriend. Would 8 on each side be too much? I can’t decide if we should include them or not...our wedding is middle of July.

We have 8 on each side as well, I don’t think that’s too many. The only thing I’ve seen people experience with having a siblings girlfriend or boyfriend in the wedding is them not being together forever then he/she is in photos.

I would be hurt if you added me as an after thought just a few months before your wedding, but if you think it’s best then go for it

There isn’t a too many or not enough rule / go with your gut. Talk to FH and go from there. If you know they would be so honored to be able to stand up there by you guys and it will mean a lot to you and them then go for it !
