My diy Bouquets are done!

View Quoted Comment Get a tub with a lid...mix 2 parts borax, one part sand(clean and dry sand) cover flowers and leave in mixture until dry.
You can check them every few days, to make sure all the moisture is out.
You can then put them in a shadow box, or under glass.
Red roses hold up well when drying.
It's usually best to take it apart to dry(you can dry leaves too)
When dry reassemble with a cool glue gun.

They are gorgeous! I love Trader Joe's flowers. How long did it take you to do them? I'm thinking of having a "make your own bouquet" station. It's just me and 3 or 4 other girls. Best wishes for your big day!

I was doing it at a leisurely pace though, and I had to take them all out of their plastic packaging and strip excess leaves off, then cut the stems a bit. After I taped the bouquets together, I trimmed everything up again to make the ends the same length. Then I used floral pins to help put the ribbon on.
