My fiancé(e) and I are getting help paying for the wedding - true or false?

True. Our parents are contributing a portion to us, but we're paying the majority of it.

True. My mom and dad set aside a little money for us and are helping with the big stuff (venue catering, photography)

We would love to pay for it all ourselves, but are accepting some help from our parents who have generously offered to help! His parents have given us a specific number, my parents however haven’t said much. They’ve happily been involved in planning and have stated that they are saving to help pay, but not sure how to approach discussing a number? I don’t expect money from either but it sure is appreciated.

We went into this assuming we would pay for it ourselves, but my stepmom has surprised me when shopping by pushing me aside and paying for some decorations, she bought the wedding jewelry that I've already picked out as well as my wedding shoes, and she's picked up some decorations and flower pedals for me. My mother is paying for my hair/makeup
