My fiancé(e) and I are getting help paying for the wedding - true or false?

True. My parents are paying for most of the wedding.

True. Both of our parents wanted to contribute. So they are helping and we are paying for the rest.

True - my parents have helped with save the dates, they're helping with invitations, postage for all that, and some stuff for centerpieces. His dad is allegedly taking care of the rehearsal dinner but we'll see

False. We're paying for everything, with him footing the bill for most of it because he works and I don't. I've earned giftcards online for years now, so i'm doing what I can. I cashed in for 300 in Amazon cards and got most of the stuff we needed on prime day. I got the flower, plates, cups, napkins, silverware, my shoes, my hair clip, or cake topper, cake plates, gems for the candle holder, flame less votives and flower petals.

We are paying for 100% of the wedding ourselves. My mom however, helped us big time by gifting us the main diamond in my engagement ring. She knew she wasn’t going to be able to contribute with funds so she gave us the main stone to an engagement ring she got from her fiancé that passed away. I really liked him to so it has sentimental value as well.

We did get some money from his mom and both of our moms paid some towards my dress.

True. Both of our parents have covered the majority of the costs. We are so grateful!

My mom offered to pay for the flowers which is so nice, since otherwise that is an area we would have skimped on. Otherwise we are paying for everything ourselves.

We are paying for everything on our own. My mother wanted to buy the wedding cake and day dad wanted to buy my dress but I just told them to give me cash as my wedding gift instead. And we are all happy with that arrangement.

True. We will most likely go over what my parents gave us. It was super generous and much apprecisted. We would have had the same wedding with half the guest list.

True, my FH’s parents are paying for a lot. I am super hesitant of it because I feel guilty that it’s not us or traditionally would be my family. We are getting married at his parents house and his mom has been very involved. I am so thankful for her because it has made me realize more that I do want a wedding and I think I was just hesitant towards a wedding since my mom passed away and I didn’t have her to help me do al the stuff a mom would normally do. We are paying for our honeymoon and also bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen suits along with our own attire!

It’s my dad and his girlfriend and he mentioned that he wanted to give us some money to put towards the wedding, but I didn’t expect it because I know that he also struggles. He brought it up the other day that he was hoping to give me 2500 in January, I totally didn’t expect it at all.
