    True - my parents have helped pay for quite a bit, which I was surprised only because this is a 2nd marriage for both of us and they originally were only paying for half the venue. I am very thankful for them.

    TRUE. My parents gave enough to cover half and then his side gave the same amount and then he and I are covering some smaller things. But our parents are paying for basically everything.
