My fiancé(e) and I are getting help paying for the wedding - true or false?

False, paying for it on our own!

True! And I am so grateful and blessed to have as much help as we've had! I didn't think it would have been so much, but thank goodness. I'm not sure how we would have afforded everything that FH wants (he has an expensive taste).

We have had help (not always monetary). We both come from families of divorce, so we have a lot of help. His mom and step-dad are paying for our DJ and his mom is a wedding decorator, so shes doing all of our flowers/ceremony & reception decorations. His dad and step-mom have given us some cash to use as we need. My dad and step-mom gave us cash to use as needed and my mom is "buying" my dress (I already bought it, but she insists on giving me the money for it).

True. I really didn’t want to but everyone in my family kinda pitched in where they wanted to as a gift for the wedding. For instance my brother is paying for the photographer. And my sisters helped pay for my dress.

False. We are paying for everything ourselves, except for the transportation which my future MIL offered to pay for just recently. My FH's parents don't have much money, and my parents are no longer with us... and we just don't expect anyone to help us.. it's our wedding.

We are having a little bit of help, but like 85% of the wedding is being funded by ourselves.

We are paying for everything ourselves. Including bridesmaids dresses and groomsmen attire.

True. We had said no thank you to all monetary offers until I went dress shopping with my mom. When it was time to pay, before I could open my purse, she said 'I'll get it' with tears in her eyes. I couldn't say no. She would have been upset. I'm very grateful for the great parents we both have.

True. My parents are helping out with some (Save The Dates & Invitation Cards, Catering, Church Donation..) Maybe even more. My sister has offered to pay for my dress as a wedding gift. 🥰 However I don’t plan on having my family pay for everything. My FH and I are saving for certain things as well. I myself want to be able to pay for my bridesmaids (just 2) and MOH dresses since my dress is covered.

True. We didn't want any help at all but our parents insisted on helping us out. My mom and dad are footing the cost of the bar and part of the food. My FMIL and her mother are buying the majority of the decorations and everything is DIY.

Kind of both. We are paying for the majority but his mom paid for the DJ and my parents paid for the flowers. My mom also did a lot of our DIY like signs, shirts, koozies, etc.
