True, my parents are paying for the majority of the wedding. We are contributing where we can.

Kind of. Some people we’re accepting their help, others I do not want to simply because I feel like they’re either trying to tell me what to do with it or they will hold it over our head. I’m good on that.

We are paying for everything from wedding to the reception. We are also paying for his parents hotel stay and my one night each for my parents (both are divorced and remarried) hotel stay. The guests are paying for their own rooms.

True, but we're still paying for many important things like stationary, the honeymoon, our attire, and gifts for the bridal party.

For the main wedding we are paying for 1/3 of the official budget and my parents have committed to helping with 2/3 of the official budget. His parents will pay entirely for the Chinese wedding.

My dad has said he’ll pay for about 15,000 of it. We are so so so thankful and we are trying to balance that budget and cover the smaller items (cake, decor, etc). His dad said depending on where they are financially they’ll be able to help with the honeymoon!

We paid ourselves for most of the things. My parents insisted on participating, but we just put those money aside.
