Because I've been married twice before, I let him choose some of the vendors and the colors. He really doesn't realize how much is involved in planning and thinks I'm trying to take over. I'm at my wits end right now because I am not as far along with the planning as I should be because of him. I would have preferred a destination wedding or even at city hall but he wanted this. He was married before but didn't have a wedding so I am not going to deprive him of what he wants but he really needs to let me make this special for him. You know what I mean?

False! I always get his opinion when making a decision, but he hasn't really decided anything on his own... except for songs for the DJ to play. He's good at making playlists so he wanted to put together songs for the DJ!

True and false. It really depends on the day. Sometimes he is extremely opinionated and others he is just like do what you want. It is frustrating to say the least.

False. I do 98% of the planning. However, when it comes to making final decisions, she always contributes.

Same, we sat down to register for gifts and I kept asking what he wanted to register for and he was like "I don't know"

I mean, he’s been involved, but I’ve definitely been directing the entire thing... so, I guess false.

    FALSE Smiley xd

After we picked the venue, bar, food and DJ he has set himself on cruise control. He writes checks and agree's with colors, it's honestly very nice.

DEFINITELY false. He feels that the detail are all up to me since he's the one paying for the big ticket items like the hall, food, drinks, and officiant. I wish he'd help some because i'm a bit overwhelmed.

We picked the venue, band, rings, and food... then— exits man, stage left!

He transfers me $, I pay and keep track of the payments and let him know what else we need. I’m good with it though. Haha!

False. My fiancé isn't very helpful. Our wedding is 8/14/21 so he thinks we should wait until next year to start planning. I kept telling him the sooner we start planning the better off will be. So for now it's like I'm the only one who is planning this wedding.

1/2 true. He's really involved but probably wouldn't go over things as much as I want to

That's a huge FALSE! haha He'll help with some details here and there, but I've done the majority of planning.

I have done all of the planning and have paid for everything. I will just give him half of the bill and bill him later. It’s not that he wants to be uninvolved, it’s just that I like planning.

False. It’s mostly me, but he participates when I ask him to. This works great for me since I am detail oriented and perfectly happy to manage the particulars! I consult him before any decisions are made, such as hiring vendors.

False, he looked at venues with me and is enchare of the 1 vendor but I've done most of the planning on my own.
