My Finger Nail Fell Off 1 Month Before my Wedding!!!

I slammed my finger in the door and my whole fingernail fell off! The sad part is, I am less than a month away from my wedding. Is there anything I can do with Acrylic, gel, anything to make it look like a nail for the wedding day?

Can you go to a nail salon and get a nail put on in a week or so or 2wks before your wedding day

Shanetta oh I feel your pain...minus the wedding part. I apparently am allergic to adhesive and got a horrible reaction on my fingers. When they finally healed I went to gel glue and seem ok at first but over time its softened my nails and literally all of them peeled off to nothing. Well I started a new job in real estate and couldnt have them look like that so I went to press ons and took them off every night. Cost me a ton - UGH. That kept them raw and peeling and its now been 4 months and they are almost night cracked and bleeding. I actually started using a sensitve nail polish and painting them in such a way that it looked like a nail. Welll even that is bothering me now. I think I just have accept for the next year they are going to look awful and deal with it. And add this to the many many things I am allergic too. Sigh!!!

Wow. Sad for that to happen. So often there are warnings about beauty products being tested first, but usually there is no problem.

Can you wear gloves? That might work for weddings too (though the original post was a long time ago). Gloves seemed to be popular ... well ... a half-century ago.
