My first attempt at making Sola wood flower centerpieces!

Tina, on December 16, 2018 at 5:29 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 1 18
Finally gave it a go today! Burned my finger badly on the hot glue gun but oh well! 😁 Im trying to stay at 7 flowers per bouquet with no fillers just the flowers. This is how they would look on the day although I may paint the mason jars a pale yellow instead (my tables are white with mint green runners). My theme is industrial vintage so it's a mix of pastels and bronzes and browns. Sounds weird, but it works!

Any suggestions on the bouquets?

I love that you did it yourself I’m a big DIYer. You did a great job. I think you should add just a little greenery to fill it out a little more. But it’s your big day if you are satisfied then keep it just the way it is.

Thanks! Im trying to do everything myself, it honestly makes me feel more part of the event as weird as that may sound.

And I might stick some baby's breath in them as just a little accent. Ive got ages til the big day so plenty of time to change my mind! Lol

Yes baby’s breath would add a great touch. Good luck with everything and most importantly enjoy doing it.

I do think the pale yellow would be better suited, but it looks great! I like the pastel/bronze idea.

I did sola too! It’s so amazing to see how different people come up with different looks with the same product! I love how your able to capture your vision here! I agree yellow may pull it together better than the blue. I’m on the mobile app so I can’t see, is it a fall wedding? The colors are so pretty, esp for that season! I think I agree w pp, to add some little greenery bits or babies breath to break up the flowers. Nice work!
I’ve been DIYing like a crazy person too... makes me feel more a part of the big day too- so we are the same kind of crazy I guess!

Tina this is gorgeous!! I love the flowers you used and the color of them! I think the color you used for the jars is perfect but I can also see the yellow being a nice pop with the mint as well!

Tina, these look amazing! I also really like the design on the mason jars! Can't wait to see what they look like after you paint the jars pale yellow!

Trust me, I know hot glue gun burns are the worst!! I've had many Smiley xd
