My First Hair Trial Is Tomorrow! 🥰❤️✨💍💍

I'm doing my first this weekend! Tips from my artist:
Bring inspo pics! Even if you don't completely know what you want, by showing them what you like gives them a pretty good idea of where to go.
Wash your hair the day before, or even 2 days before. "Dirtier" hair is much easier to style because it stays put much easier.
Be ready to discuss color/cut options. Decide what color you'll want your hair to be, and also if you'll be wanting extensions, or even if you'll be cutting it shorter. The color will help your artist choose styles that will most complement your color. The cut will help decide the style because they will know how long your hair will be, and therefore can accommodate for different lengths.

It unfortunately didn’t go as planned. 😔. Not terrible. I had a very sweet & talented hairdresser. However seemed like her mind was elsewhere I suppose because it seemed like she didn’t listen to anything I was wanting nor really looking at the picture I showed her. First picture of the blonde updo is what I’m in love with and what I wanted as well as the picture of what I showed the stylist. Second picture is my the brunette of what I actually ended up with as results. 😒 it’s pretty don’t get me wrong. Just not even close to what I wanted and I don’t care for this style for me. 😭😫Felt like I had a dead octopus on my neck. 🤣

Also it costed SO much and wedding day will be even more.

Everybody’s hair is different & sometimes a style won’t look the same on your hair as it looks on the model’s hair. But in your case, she totally missed the mark. These two styles really have nothing in common, except both being an updo.

I was about 10 minutes late because I got lost getting to the salon since it was out of town and my first time there plus she had an appointment after me. She let me know though that she can change it of course to whatever I want for the day of. Still wasn’t happy with her performance because like you said they’re two completely different hairstyles so honestly that appointment really was just a waste of my/her time and my money. It’s all good though. I already have someone better to do my actual hair on the wedding day. 🤣
