My future husband saw my dress

If it makes you feel any better, NO picture could spoil how beautiful you're going to be in person the day of your wedding walking down the aisle, to me pictures don't do the real thing justice. To be honest, I eliminated the surprise of my own wedding dress because I cant keep secrets from my fiancé whatsoever. I try, it just never works.

Oh no! I’m so sorry that happened to you! Well the good news is even if he saw it, he loves you enough to not hurt your feelings and tell you he saw it. Best scenario, he didn’t didn’t see it! Plus there is still some time before the wedding and I’m sure it will look much different with your hair and makeup and everything! Don’t worry, it’ll still be very special

I'm sorry that he might have gotten a sneak peak at your dress! You are going to be gorgeous on your wedding day, and a photo won't compare. Plus like he said, he probably didn't even get a good look at it.

It will be totally different, when you're there in real life, not just a pic. With makeup and hair all done up.

Don’t let it be ruined! I’m pretty sure my FH saw my dress because my mom was flipping through photos in the front seat of the car and we were in the backseat and he accidentally saw at least one of the ones I tried on 😭 but a photo is not real life!

My H helped me try on my dress (he cried the first time), then went with me to a fitting to learn how to bustle it, then helped me get ready on the day of our wedding and still was surprised and cried and told me I was the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen walking down the aisle to him so....don’t worry mama! Nothing can ruin or diminish that moment your FH sees you walking towards him on your wedding day.

Literally exactly the same thing happened to me, only the picture was sent by someone who I purposefully did not invite dress shopping.

She saw the pics my BFF had taken on her phone from the dress appointment, took a picture of the pic with her own phone and sent it.

I truly couldn’t even believe that happened. My H said the same thing your FH did. I didn’t believe him at first either, but on the wedding day it was totally clear that the mishap didn’t ruin anything

No moment will be ruined. On your wedding day you will be made up, your dress will fit perfectly, and it will still be a special moment.

It's okay and totally understandable to be upset! But just think the day of will be different because of hair, make-up, accessories, but my favorite reason that it will be different is your SMILE. When you see FH as you're walking down the smile that you'll have (and maybe some happy tears!) will be the thing that makes his day, his year, his life, and of course the whole wedding day outfit that you have on!

ETA: I am into this old tradition of the Groom not seeing the Bride, especially in her dress so I totally get where you're coming from!

Guys don't remember anything! Don't stress! It will look different once your made up with your veil.

You'll be so pretty , that he wouldn't even realize he even seen the dress already.

I wouldn't think about it as being ruined because he hasn't seen you all dolled up yet so once he see everything come together it wont make a difference if he saw it before.

I am so sorry but try not to let it bother you too much. You are going to look even better all dolled up the day of and I am sure you are going to take his breath away!
