While listening to a video from KevOnStage a writer wrote in about her husbands desire for her to wear her natural hair and how her wearing wigs is impacting their marriage. One day while her husband was sleeping she decided to play in his hair and the front lifted slightly. To her surprise she discovered that her husband was wearing a lacefront wig. The writer wanted to know how she could confront her husband about not being honest about his hair and also being a hypocrite on the natural hair topic.

What are your thoughts on this situation?

I would definitely call him out. Why should she wear her hair naturally if he isn't? I don't like double standards. I don't think something as simple as hair should impact a marriage, but that's just my opinion. I talked to a guy once who was into me straightening my naturally curly hair. I guess wasn't a fan of curly hair, but really glad we never became a thing due to that.
I think he should have addressed and solved his issue with her wigs before they got married so that it wouldn't be an issue now, whether it be they came to an agreement or didn't end up together if it bothers him that much.

I mean I would just ask what’s up. If wearing a wig makes him feel confident, go for it. If he continues to voice his opinions on my hair I’d just let him know that I preferred my wigs.

I dont think its cool to throw his wig in his face. I also don’t think it’s cool that he tries to pressure his wife into doing something she doesn’t like.

I agree that hair shouldn't be the cause of problems in a marriage but being a list/deciever and hypocrite is different.
