My mom is walking me down the aisle

My BFFL walked me down the aisle and we both ugly cried. My parents were in attendance but due to religion and family drama my dad refused to walk me down the aisle. IMO the person who walks you down the aisle should be your biggest supporter in life. It sounds like your mother is that person.

Both my parents will be walking me down the aisle and I will be having a "first dance" with the both of them. They are divorced and both a big part of my life that I want there with me together regardless of the past.

Both my parents are walking me down the aisle (because both of them helped to shape me into who I am.) However, my father will not be dancing with me during a father-daughter dance because 1) we both have social anxiety issues and 2) he was physically and emotionally abusive towards me for most of my life and he doesn't deserve it. FH will dance with his mom during the reception so he said he doesn't need to do the father-daughter/mother son dances. Do what makes you feel comfortable. It's your wedding. It doesn't have to be cookie cutter.

My mom is walking me down the aisle too. She deserves the honor. She raised me and my sister alone and was the best mom ever!

My Mom is walking me down the aisle since my Dad passed almost 5 yrs ago.

My SIL had her mom walk her down the aisle, because her father is not in her life.

I think your mom walking you down the aisle is sweet - I personally would never dance with my mom, just seems odd to me.

I walked down the aisle with both my parents. I also had a dance with both of them, my mom didn't know the DJ was going to call her name so I could dance with her. It was very emotional and I am so glad we did it.
