My sapphire engagement ring... show me yours?

So! I finally got the hard drive out of my old computer that died and am uploading all the data to my new laptop and came across all the ring pictures I took the day after we got engaged. Most of them are crappy (I am crappy at taking pictures of my hand and small things) ...but I love my ring and would love to share ^_^

It is a purple sapphire with white sapphire side stones. The stones add up to 21 ....which is meaningful because it was August 21, 2010 that we pretty much knew we were totally into each other. =)

Anyhoo...Do you have a sapphire or gemstone ring? Can I see it? =)

    Mine is my avatar. Natural blue sapphire. I've never been a big fan of diamonds.

    My center stone is a ruby, with 10 diamonds as petals and 4 emeralds as leaves. Notice the sides are branches!

    I took this the night of our wedding, on the way to the hotel. It's an Amethyst, which happens to be my birthstone. Smiley smile

    Thanks! He had it custom-designed to resemble a Tudor rose (which is one of my tattoos).

    My current ring, not my e-ring, it's tanzanite in the middle with three small cz's on each side. Honestly I am having a hard time on thinking of what to do with it once he buys my e-ring.

    Amethyst and diamonds. I originally wanted white sapphires, but FH said "there had to be something diamond"

    Randee .....could you use the stones to maybe make a journey pendant? I am doing that with some stones from various rings and my grandmothers diamond. Starting like a family journey pendant =)

    Caylin.....thank you! I really really love it. I am trying to now, work on the designs for the bands to go on either side. I will be excited to have the set done. =)

    Ooo...are weddings are less than a month apart ^_^ YAY! I look forward to having people on here now and all the way through the 2015 weddings =)
