I have an ice blue sapphire (which can look like Tanzanite in certain lighting). My band has filigree and antique detailing and diamonds, 6 on each side.

Love all the sapphires, and amethyst is actually one of my FAVE stones. Gorgeous. Mine's pretty simple. Round diamond with pave diamonds on either side of the center stone. It's in my avatar as well, just kinda harder to see. Lovely rings ladies!

Orange sapphire with diamonds then had the two wedding bands made to go around the ring.

@Jessica, I am like Caylin and don't always love e-rings that are of a different stone than diamonds, but yours is gorgeous! Plus, my favorite color is purple so I love it even more!

I don't have an engagement ring but my new ring for my vow renewal more than makes up for it. The middle stone is topaz, surrounded by white diamonds, surrounded by chocolate diamonds, surrounded by sapphires (Hubby's birthstone). Can't wait to wear her in a couple of months.

This is an old pic, but it's sapphire and engraved white gold. I wanted something very simple. Also, I don't know what is up with my wrist here, it looks like an alien is about to pop out.

OK, able to upload the ring pics! Mine is a vintage style engagement ring that has 12 round, channel-set diamonds, and my center stone my FH and I selected is an ice blue sapphire. We tried a Kentucky blue (more of a medium blue) and fire sapphire and they all looked good, but the ice blue was just a little better.

Here it is in the jewelry store, stone just placed for viewing not set yet, with the matching band I'll have.

This is my new ring that will be here on Monday.

It is white sapphires. FH thinks its tacky looking but I love it!

Mine is a princess cut diamond with two sapphires and then small diamonds down the side. My wedding band is a diamond and blue sapphire eternity band. I don't have a pic of it with me

Here's mine. Had it custom made using stones from both of my grandmothers. Blue sapphire in the middle that my grandfather gave to my grandmother on one of their anniversaries
