My shower is Saturday and nothing has been purchased off my registry

I wouldnt worry about whats been purchased or not, just enjoy your shower. you might get alot of cash gifts or giftcards. I got maybe 1 or 2 things off my registry for my shower and the rest was GCs and cash.

Hm... I guess there's nothing you can do So try not to worry? I haven't had my shower yet.

Yes, it is normal. I can not tell you how many times at Target I have brought my own copy of the scannable registry with me, and I had to tell the checkout person to scan it - then even if they did, sometimes it will not register on your online registry. The last shower I went to 4 people got the bride the same shower curtain because in the store, the SKU number was one number off so it never registered.

So when my cousin got married, we knew she would be checking her registry every day. Her shower was going to be a surprise and we didn't want her to see things being purchased or she would know something was up. We worked with BB&B to transfer her entire registry over to our names just for the shower. They were then able to make the updates to the actual registry. Maybe they did something like this..

Don't worry, People may have found the items cheaper at a different store or just didn't think to give the registry info to have it reflect purchased. Either way I guarantee you will get some sort of gifts or maybe just a lot of cash/gift cards lol. So relax and enjoy it!

I had a bunch that didn't show up as purchased on my registry. No lie, I got 9 sets of Pyrex. So apparently, there was a glitch somewhere. Don't worry too much. Also, sometimes you can purchase items somewhere else for cheaper. They may have gotten you what you wanted, just not from where you wanted it.

Lots of people dont actually purchase "from" the registry. They might look up what you want, and buy it directly (without going through the registry itself) or find the same item cheaper elsewhere, and it won't show up as bought. Don't stress about it, and you can remove some items after the shower when you see what you got!

Everyone knows we are paying for the wedding ourselves so we may be getting a lot of cash.

We also registered at a travel agent and I dont know if she has had people call her or not. I guess I was just surprised. Thanks for talking me down lol!

Yeah, I wouldn't worry too much And, you can always go in and update your registry after the shower!

I remember my cousins registry at Target, none of the items showed up as purchased and she ended up with 6 vacuums.

At our first shower there was a ton of items that we received that didn't show as being purchased off our registry from Target. I had to manually go in and fix everything.

Don't worry about it, If I print out a registry I might buy it on line cheaper than that store or at another store. I really don't like registries. half the time they don't work or some people register for different places but picked the same things out. It is quit annoying. I am hoping for gift cards personally but I am happy with any gift.

I normally dont shop until the day of. I wouldnt worry to much yet.

Yup I wouldn't worry! I haven't had my bridal shower yet, but when I had my baby shower most people had looked at it and then picked whatever it was up from wherever was easiest for them - so most didn't get taken off the registry but I did still get a lot of what we had registered for!

Kohl's is weird and kind of a pain in the butt. People may have gotten the same items elsewhere. My FSIL got a toaster for us from Zappo's instead of BBB.

We received multiple items of a few things because they were purchased from somewhere not on the registry (if that makes sense) so they weren't marked off. I know a lot of people purchased things last minute too...

I think a lot of people wait to buy last minute.

I know my friend had serious issues with her Target registry not marking things as purchased. She got 6 britta water filters because of it!

Maybe you'll get a lot of money or gift cards so you can shop for yourself.
