My tv sounds like it's holding a cricket hostage!!!

ladylee, on December 28, 2009 at 11:54 PM Posted in Planning 0 5

My tv has been making this hideous hissing noise for about a month now. I really want to replace it but we're getting married in 6 months and he has 2 flat panels at his house. We already have to consolidate. I'm really trying to be practical in my purchases going forward but this damn cricket tv is driving me BONKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He has a tv in his LR & BR. I wouldn't want to take either of those. I actually do have my old tv downstairs somewhere that I had in the LR before I bought my flat panel. But it's a bit bigger than I would want in my bedroom I think. I probably will just break down and buy one. I can't imagine listening to his for another 6 months. We are probably going to turn the basement into a gym b/c we have too much workout equipment between us so I guess it would be nice to have a tv/dvd player down there. And we could put another in one of the guest bedrooms.

There's no way I'll ever get used to the hissing sound. It's driving me bonkers to the point that I will just turn it off. I've had it for about 7 years so no it's not under warranty. I think FH ruined it by turning it up so damn loud! That's my theory and I'm sticking to it lol. I swear that man needs his hearing checked.
