My Wedding Dress came in!

Hi All, My dress finally arrived! I wear size 6 in regular clothes. I tried on many wedding dresses and turns out I'm an 8 in wedding dresses. I tried on a 14 and it fit me GINORMOUS. After going back and forth with the sales lady, we agreed she'd ordered me a size 10 just to be on the safe side. Well it turns out they ordered me a size 14. Because I can have alterations it shouldn't be a problem but it bothers me for a couple of reasons. 1. they lied to me about ordering a smaller size and 2. Parts of the dress are gonna be too big like the bust and that could potentially require extra alterations that could've been avoided had they ordered a smaller size. Am I being a bridezilla? Perhaps. But DON'T lie to me Another thing is will they charge me extra for alterations bc it's big? Maybe. What did you ladies do when you picked up your dress? I feel like it's bringing a baby home lol. Did you leave it at the store till you were ready for alterations?

I am a 18 in normal clothes and I ordered a 24. My consultant measured me as a 24 then offered for me to try on a dress that was a 24 by the same designer, I did and it felt right it was similar to the style mine was so I felt confident. She was very nice it's a little sad that so many women were over sold on what they needed.
