I didn't see a scrunch. I am shocked that she would say that to you. I literally can't believe that bitch. You look great, its a great dress on you and you wear it WELL.

If by "scrunch", you mean the natural curvature of your waist, then I see the scrunch. But what I also see is someone with a great figure, in a dress that happens to show where you have a natural waist - which I personally find attractive. You look like you have a little waist - and you certainly do not look like you have big hips. It does sound like your alterations person is snatchy and rude.

You're too sweet! its hard to feel pretty in something that you've been told you don't look pretty in numerous times! but this encouragement is awesome!

Would it look good with a sash? I think you lol beautiful even though I see the scrunch you speak of. I don't think it's because you're fat it just seems a little long for your torso. I would get a second opinion from another alterations place.

You look great! And your alternations person is a b**** for saying that. You are nowhere near "fat". I do agree that, if there is a scrunch there, just get a beaded belt (or whatever they are called lol) to go around your waist to hide it. Are you in heels in this picture? I am a "hippy" gal with a fairly small waist and I tried on lots of dresses that did a scrunch right above my hip bones, but I found that if I had on heels I would stand a little straighter and that would disappear.

I think I know what you're talking about when you say there's scrunch. I have thicker hips and right about the hips there's scrunch in my dress. The alterations told me not to gain anymore weight or muscle in my thigh area. But she did say she could fix that scrunch part.Maybe you should try a different place for your alterations.

That is a beautiful dress.... I love the before pics. I agree with Nicole that all it needs is to be fitted to your curves. Don't listen to her... Find someone else and make sure to leave that seamstress a review of your experience so that no one else has to go through that.

I feel like someone who basically makes a living off making brides feel pretty shouldn't be a bitch and call you fat. Even if you were (and you're SO not) it's her job to make you feel pretty!

I agree with the ladies, you do not look fat! If you're still doubtful about the fit, consult someone else for alterations....I honestly dont think you need to. You look happy in your pic and the dress photographs great! Good luck girlie!

What a horrible thing to say to you! You do NOT look fat. As others have said, go to someone who can do the alterations to your liking. It sounds like she doesn't know what she is doing.
