You'll want to start by creating a budget and guest list. Once this to things are done you can start touring venues. Until you have secured a venue, you don't actually have a wedding date because unfortunately just because you have a specific day in mind doesn't mean the venue you select will have that date available.

Booking your venue should be done first as some are already booked up, then your videographer/photographer. Work on your dress is also important now as it may take months for it to be ready. If you are sending out save the dates, then finding one within the next month is important so you can at least send them out 6 months before the wedding. You can go ahead and select your bridal party and let them know if you are having one.

First thing is to create your budget, because that will determine everything else.
