Just Said Yes November 2020

My wedding is in November.

Would you cancel it because of the effects of the Coronavirus?
Or will you still plan it and hope for the best?

Our wedding is in October and we’re planning on going forward. Things are changing quickly and it’s hard to say what things will look like in six months. If we have to adjust, we will. But we’re not going to get ahead of ourselves.

Mine is in December and I'm keeping it for now. I'll want to make a decision by September/October.

What worries me the most is that my entire family but parents/sister live in Europe. So there is a possibility that borders will still be closed so they might not be able to come. I want to wait until it is closer though to see exactly how it is then.

Ours is in October, and as of now are currently still going forward with the wedding. If we have to we will still plan on getting married on the set date, but post pone the reception. Just hoping for the best.

I’m getting married in September and still moving forward. I pray every night that this virus is gone before then.

I’m also in November and for now crossing fingers and planning ahead. I’m grateful I have most things figured out, however slightly concerned about dress fittings/alterations and a few other things. I just keep reminding myself it’s out of my control!

Our wedding is also in November. At the moment, we're planning to proceed as usual. We're still planning like we have been. We do know that we may need to reconsider the date in a couple months, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

I would keep it unless you hear otherwise. It is good that yours is at the beginning of winter. Respiratory viruses do usually affect more people as winter progresses. So even if there are restrictions at some point next winter, they are more likely as winter goes on, if hospitals are being overwhelmed, than early on. Good wishes to you all for next fall and winter weddings.

Go for it! Praying things return to normality before then but honestly if not, my opinion would be that you’ve got to carry on and where there’s a will there’s a way. But I’d be very surprised if we were still battling this in this capacity by next fall.

I'm a Nov 14 2020 bride and a frontline employee. We will make a decision in July if need be. For now I am carrying on as normal but we have discussed the potential of a "soft" rescheduled date. It comes down to your stress, but I think it's a little too early for our wedding date groupies to cancel, but its your day and your stress level.

We have moved our 9-19-20 date to 10-16-21. I think it depends where you live, where are guests coming from, are they traveling (We had a lot of international guests), how many guests will you have, are they older, etc. Are you okay with adjustments to your wedding? We weren't and the stress and money on the line was too much so I feel relieved to have made a decision.

My original date was April 11th and we rescheduled to Nov 14th. Really hoping everything is somewhat back to normal by then.

Cautiously moving forward with our October 10th wedding. Trying to figure out what my next step is. We will decide around late July if we need to postpone/go to plan b.

Getting married 11/13/20 and had talks with FH about canceling all together. We made 1 deposit payment and next one isn't until mid-May. 2021 isn't really an option for us as we wanted to start a family. We also don't feel it will be the same to have a reception months later as we are planning to get married this year with or without anyone. Social distancing seems it will stay strict here in CA & I can't imagine having it this year with limitations like no hugging, no dance floor, everyone wearing masks and not having everyone there. Yes it will be a loss on the deposit but trying to look on the other side as we can use the rest of the money we would've spent on a home, etc.. its all the unknown that is stressing us out! Thinking of all you brides! We need to lean on each other since no one else understands ❤

I think you're fine. I think by fall , everything will be fine. Unless you live in a state where it's super cold by November or starting to hit winter , I think you'll be ok.
